WordPress website feedback that arrives ready to action
Stop asking clients to describe a page element in an email or mark up a disconnected screenshot. Snootl lets reviewers leave feedback on the WordPress website itself, then keeps the page, visual evidence, technical context, and conversation attached to one task.
Install Snootl without editing your theme
The official Snootl plugin is available from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Connect it with the project API key and choose who can see the feedback widget:
- Everyone visiting the connected website
- Signed-in WordPress users only
- Users at a selected WordPress role level and above
- Nobody, when feedback collection needs to be paused
- Authorized users inside
wp-admin, when the optional admin setting is enabled
These controls make it possible to use the same workflow on a private staging environment, during client acceptance testing, or for controlled feedback after launch.
Give developers the context behind every request
A Snootl report can include the exact selected element, its page URL and DOM selector, a screenshot, drawing annotations, attachments, browser and operating-system details, screen and viewport sizes, and optional console diagnostics.
Instead of responding with “Which button do you mean?”, the delivery team can open the task and start from the original context.
Move WordPress feedback through delivery
Every report becomes a task in the Snootl workspace. Teams can manage it in a searchable list or on a Kanban board, then set its owner, status, priority, and due date. Comments, files, reactions, and activity stay with the task from the first client note to resolution.
This is especially useful for:
- WordPress agencies reviewing staging sites with clients
- Freelancers collecting structured revision requests
- Project managers coordinating designers, developers, and stakeholders
- Maintenance teams handling post-launch website changes
A simple review workflow
- Create a Snootl project for the website.
- Install the WordPress plugin and enter the project API key.
- Select who should see the widget.
- Invite the people authorized to review the project.
- Collect the first real comment and manage it in the task list or Kanban board.
If the plugin cannot be installed yet, the Snootl browser extension can open the same feedback workflow without embedding the widget.
